Current position
PublicServicePathway UK uses essential browser storage to provide account access and save preparation activity. With your permission, it also uses Google Analytics to understand visits, navigation and sign-ups. Analytics is non-essential, remains off unless you accept it, and is not used to build advertising profiles or sell information about you.
Sign-in storage
Supabase authentication stores a session token in your browser when you sign in. It is necessary to keep you signed in, refresh your session securely and restrict private workspace data to your account. Signing out removes the active session, and clearing site data in your browser removes the stored token from that device.
Practice history
If a practice result cannot be saved to a signed-in workspace, the site may store up to 50 recent results on that device under the local key psp-uk-practice-history. This lets the result remain available locally. It is not sent elsewhere merely because it is stored in your browser.
Google Analytics
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics receives page paths, referral source, approximate location, device and browser information, and limited interaction events such as a completed sign-up. It does not receive the vacancy or evidence text you enter. Advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google signals remain disabled.
Your controls
Choose Accept analytics or Essential only in the consent panel. You can reopen that panel using Analytics choices in the footer and change your decision at any time. You can also remove stored site data through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may stop sign-in, saved progress and some preparation tools from working correctly.
